Striker wanted by West Ham and Southampton given £19m tag

Juventus are willing to sell West Ham United and Southampton striking target Simone Zaza this summer but will ask for £19 million for his signature, according to Corriere Della Sera.

The Italy international has been included in Antonio Conte’s provisional squad for Euro 2016 and is rated as a player capable of scoring consistently at a high level.

However, Zaza has found first-team opportunities in Turin hard to come by since moving to the Serie A champions from Sassuolo last summer.

The versatile forward was behind Alvaro Morata and Pablo Dybala in the club’s thinking last term and was only handed a handful of outings as the Bianconeri romped their way to the Scudetto.

The latest report suggests that Max Allegri is ready to allow Zaza to pursue options away from Juventus but that the Italian champions want to make a profit on his sale given that they paid roughly £15 million for him themselves 12 months ago.

Both West Ham United and Southampton have repeatedly been linked with Zaza and will have to weigh up whether he is worth the £19 million fee.
