Sunderland are believed to have finally reached a fee with Wolves for striker Steven Fletcher, according to Sky Sports.
The Black Cats are eager to find a new attacker after letting Nicklas Bendtner return to Arsenal after a loan spell at the Stadium of Light last term.
Martin O’Neill has identified the Scotland international as a potential target, but have had a number of bids turned down by the Molineux club this summer.
Fletcher has refused to be involved for the Midlands outfit in a bid to force a transfer, and it is said that the two clubs have now come to an agreement over a fee.
The gifted attacker is now expected on Wearside to discuss personal terms and to undergo a medical ahead of a proposed move.
