Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes has slammed the chances of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid for Manchester United next summer, according to reports from the Mirror.
Ronaldo has once again been heavily linked with a move back to Old Trafford after Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal hinted the idea during the weekend, but Mendes is having none of it and informed the Premier League club it would be impossible.
Mendes is adamant that the 30-year-old will finish his career at the Santiago Bernabeu, with the Real board in full support of Ronaldo during their crisis with new manager Rafa Benitez.
Los Blancos were crushed 4-0 by Barcelona during the weekend and it has been rumoured that Benitiez is set to lose his job at the helm, with many fans angry with the appointment ahead of a re-election campaign.
Ronaldo currently has three years remaining on his contract, with many believing that the former Sporting Lisbon youngster will travel to the United States to play in the MLS in the future.
