Swansea City have had an offer of £13 million accepted by Liverpool for former midfielder Joe Allen, The Guardian report.
The Welsh central midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield since the arrival of new manager Jurgen Klopp and was widely expected to be a fringe figure at the Merseyside club in 2016-17.
However, a progressive Euro 2016 campaign with Wales, where Allen helped his nation get to the semi-finals, has seen the battler thrown into the shop window.
Allen followed former boss Brendan Rodgers from Swansea to Liverpool, but looks set to return to his former club ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The 26-year-old only started eight Premier League games for the Reds last season and will be happy to return to the Liberty Stadium if more regular action is on offer.
Swansea will also welcome Allen back haven sold Jonjo Shelvey in January, with the former star adding depth to Francesco Guidolin’s squad.
