Arsenal are keeping tabs on young Dutch striker Vincent Janssen and could well make a move for the hotshot forward this summer, according to The Telegraph.
The North London side have missed out on the Premier League title again this season, with the lack of a potent goalscorer blighting the Gunners’ chances of success.
The last prolific striker Arsenal had in their ranks was Robin van Persie, with Arsene Wenger potentially set to turn to the Eredivisie again to add firepower.
Janssen has been a sensation this season for AZ Alkmaar in his first campaign in the Dutch top flight.
The 21-year-old is the division’s leading goalscorer with 26 goals in 31 starts this term, with Manchester United also linked with the star in recent times.
Janssen has already made his debut for the Netherlands national side and scored against England in a 2-1 victory at Wembley in the last round of international friendlies.
