Zoran Tosic has accused Sir Alex Ferguson of not giving him a fair crack of the whip at Manchester United.
The 23-year-old Serbia winger was sold to CSKA Moscow earlier in the week after just 18 months at Old Trafford.
Tosic made only five substitute appearances for the Red Devils following his arrival from Partizan Belgrade in January 2009.
The writing looked to be on the wall for the wideman after he was loaned out to Bundesliga side FC Koln during the second half of last season.
"I'm already 23, but Manchester United didn't give me a chance to prove myself," said Tosic.
"Obviously, I'm an athlete, I have ambition, but I want to show myself on the pitch, not on the bench. That's the main reason I left.
"They could have considered loaning me, but Manchester United wanted to sell and sell they did.
"CSKA Moscow, in my opinion, are quite a famous club, consistently playing in European competition and fighting for the Russian League title."
