Tottenham alerted as West Brom manager hints at possible striker exit

Tottenham Hotspur could be plotting another move for West Bromwich Albion star Sadio Berahino following manager Tony Pulis’ latest remarks, Mirror reports.

The 22-year-old was constantly denied a transfer to White Hart Lane by club chairman Jeremy Peace and will surely be the subject of incoming offers once again during the summer.

Pulis admitted that despite his public apology for his actions following his failed move as well as his impact in the 3-2 win over Crystal Palace, he still expects the striker to leave at the end of the campaign.

“His mind is clear and he is set on his football again,” he said.

“Everything will follow, whether now, tomorrow or the next day. If he is playing well he will get the recognition – and the move. He wants to play for a top-four team.”

Baggies pair Craig Gardner and Craig Dawson opened the scoring for their side before Berahino added the third to ensure that they picked up all three points.

Palace got their goals courtesy of a brace from striker Connor Wickham, but it was not enough to help manager Alan Pardew get out of their recent slump.

The Eagles have now failed to win a single Premier League match in their last 10 attempts, with their latest victory coming all the way back on December 19.
