Premier League duo Tottenham and Newcastle are set to make enquiries about Blackpool ace Tom Ince in January according to The Sun.

Ince is one of the highest rated youngsters in British football at present and has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal in recent weeks, and it seems a whole host of top clubs will battle it out for his signature.

Son of former Manchester United and Liverpool midfielder Paul Ince, the England under-21 international is enjoying a storming season at Blackpool, but the departure of his mentor Ian Holloway to Crystal Palace may distract the winger who could rake in a huge transfer fee for the Seasiders.

Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston may have no option but to accept bids of around £8million in the upcoming transfer window as Ince is out of contract this summer and would be allowed to leave Bloomfield Road for free.

Spurs have a recent history of snapping up these cheaper youngsters who are nearing the end of their contracts and Alan Pardew would be able to offer Ince first team football, so the winger has a tough decision to make in the New Year.
