Tottenham and West Ham interested in League Two ace

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are set to go head-to-head in their chase to sign AFC Wimbledon ace Ryan Sweeney, Mirror reports.

The 18-year-old centre-back is also being linked with Championship pair Charlton and Huddersfield after picking up a number of impressive displays.

Both Spurs and West Ham have already sent scouts to monitor his performances two separate times as the defender is now being tipped for a transfer in the summer.

The two Premier League sides have enjoyed a very successful campaign this season, with both teams battling for a top four finish.

Tottenham are second on the league table, five points away from leaders Leicester City and can even win the league title, while the Hammers are sitting fifth, a point away from Manchester City in fourth.

Sweeney has already featured eight times for his side this term, so far scoring one goal while managing to provide another one assist in the process.
