Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli is set to undergo scans next week in order to find the cause for feeling unwell during their 3-0 win over Norwich on Tuesday, according to reports from the London Evening Standard.
Alli has been in incredible form this season and continued his fine displays with a goal before winning a penalty in the first half against the Canaries, but the 19-year-old was not in the line up for the second period.
However, Alli himself has calmed fears in regards to a potential injury, explaining that he felt unwell and was taken off as a precaution.
But manager Mauricio Pochettino is still concerned, and will send the young England international for scans next week in order to find the cause of the problem.
Pochettino said: “We don’t know why he was dizzy. We need to do some tests next week but we have very good medical staff.
“We are not worried, we just need to assess him and to know why, but we are sure it is not a big problem.
“We need to have some checks and we need to look again but all seems to be normal and we hope he will be available for Saturday.”
The Lilywhites are just five points off league leaders Leicester City, and if the Foxes manage to beat title-favourites Manchester City, they could leapfrog the Sky Blues into second.
Alli has made 31 appearances in all competitions this term, scoring seven goals.
