Tottenham deal resurrected

Tottenham Hotspur have reignited their interest in signing Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, according to Sky Sports.

The London club had been heavily linked with the Marseille youngster across the transfer window, only for the move to collapse when the French club had a change in the boardroom. There was also concerns on how the payments would be scheduled between the two sides.

However, in a twist to the tale, it seems now the clubs are close to agreeing a deal for the player, who had already reportedly agreed personal terms after passing a medical at White Hart Lane.

Spurs are going to send Clinton N’Jie to the Ligue 1 team as part of the deal, after a disappointing first season in the Premier League.

N’Jie only made 8 appearances in the league for Spurs, failing to score in any of those outings, all of which saw him start the game on the bench.

And it seems his season will be spent in France, as N’Koudou comes the other way and gets his chance to shine in the top flight.
