After just 4 La Liga fixtures last campaign, the 29-year-old is set for a new challenge with a season loan at AS Roma. The Serie A outfit finished third last season, 11 points behind league winners Juventus. But they will be in the UEFA Champions League.
Fazio is unlikely to have a worse debut than he did for Spurs, after being sent off in 4-1 defeat to Manchester City 2 years ago. Fazio gave away a penalty at 2-1, before the Citizens went on to score twice whilst Spurs were down to 10.
But the Argentine has spoken out on his move, and is keen to get the new season underway:
