Tottenham Hotspur target Kevin Wimmer has revealed that he will consider his future with FC Koln at the end of the current season, according to reports from the Metro.
The 22-year-old also confirmed that Spurs are after his signature, but will first put his focus on his team’s push to ensure their stay in the German top flight.
“Definitely there is interest in my services,” he said.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino has seen his team drop out of the top four into sixth place, but are still in line to qualify for the Europa League next season.
With this is mind, he is hoping he can secure the services of the Austria international during the upcoming transfer window, but has agreed to stall talks until the summer.
“Nothing is done yet.
“Both clubs have agreed we will at first be sure of our top-flight status. And then we will see what’s going to happen.”
Wimmer has been a key member for his side over the course of the campaign, starting 28 out of a possible 29 matches, and is currently the subject of a £4million bid from Tottenham.
