Tottenham forward set for early exit

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Clinton N’Jie is set to spend next season on loan at Marseille, according to L’Equipe.

The 22-year-old only joined Spur last summer, but is set to move back to France for the upcoming season, with the French club able to then purchase him next year.

N’Jie joined White Hart Lane with a lot of expectations that the youngster would do well over a couple of seasons, but after only 8 Premier League games it appears his Spurs future could already be over. He failed to score in all competitions for the club.

He had scored 7 Ligue 1 goals for Lyon in the 2014-15 season, leading to his transfer to London.

Mauricio Pochettino has already added Vincent Janssen this summer, and is closing in on signing Georges-Kevin Nkoudou from Marseille. Nkoudou’s move to the club doesn’t seem to be dependant on N’Jie heading to France as part of a deal, but instead the cause for the 22-year-olds exit from London.
