Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino was left disappointed at his side’s failure to beat Burnley in the FA Cup after the match ended 1-1, forcing his side to a replay, Daily Star reports.
The draw means his side will now have to play a number of games in quick succession, meaning his players will be more tired going into each of their upcoming matches.
“I am disappointed we didn’t hold on because we need to play another game and we have a lot of games ahead.
“We are still in the FA Cup, but we need to make another effort in the next game.
“I’m not concerned, we are confident in our squad but I am disappointed because we need to play another 90 minutes, this is football.
“Our priority is to stay in all competitions and stay competitive. It is important we are in all competitions.”
They now have to travel to Crystal Palace at the weekend before playing the replay against the Clarets two days later and then facing Sunderland four days after that.
