Tottenham Hotspur continue their FA Cup run after picking up a win against Burnley as they staged a four goal comeback after going two goals down with only eight minutes played, Skysports reports.
Marvin Sordell and Ross Wallace gave the visitors a nice cushion early in the game, but was unable do stop Paulinho from scoring his team’s first goal two minutes later.
The Clarets seemed to be heading into the second half with a slight lead, but Etienne Capoue scored a stunner to level the scoring at 2-2 two minutes into first half injury time.
Mauricio Pochettino, who admitted to altering his tactics at the break, finally led for the first time in the 49th minute when Vlad Chiriches scored a closed ranged header at the far post.
Three minutes later, Danny Rose put the game out of doubt by being on the receiving end of a Roberto Soldado cross to make it 4-2 on the night, eventually knocking their opponents out of the competition.
Pochettino said: “It was a very interesting game. It was a strange game.
“It was key to go in at half-time at 2-2. We fixed something from the tactical situation and scored two goals quickly to decide the game.”
