Tottenham Hotspur lining up move for Barcelona winger

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing up a move for Barcelona winger Cristian Tello, reports the Mirror.

The 22-year-old had been a target for Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp left disappointed after the winger rejected the chance to play at Anfield.

And now Spurs have stepped up their pursuit of Tello, who has spent the last two seasons away from the Camp Nou, on loan at FC Porto first before spending the last campaign in Italy with Fiorentina.

But with a future at Barca looking more unlikely each year, it appears Tello could finally leave the Catalan club on a permanent basis.

The Mirror also claim that Southampton and Swansea City are keen on signing Tello, who has often been linked with a move to England.

Mauricio Pochettino has already added to his squad that finished 3rd in the Premier League last season, signing Victor Wanyama from his former team Southampton, and recently completing a deal to bring Vincent Janssen to White Hart Lane.
