Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be preparing a £4million offer to try and sign Andy Najar from Anderlecht after host of impressive displays in the Belgium top flight, Daily Star reports.
The 21-year-old was being monitored by scouts sent from the Premier League club to watch their target in action against Borussia Dortmund as Mauricio Pochettino is planning to make a January move for the player who was on trail at Spurs previously.
Najar was part of the Hondurus squad at the recent World Cup in Brazil and was also awarded MLS rookie of the year during his time playing for the DC United.
However, Tottenham will once again send additional club personnels to keep an eye on Najar when the Belgium club face Arsenal in the Champions League group stages in a few weeks time to compile further information regarding the potential switch.
Despite Pochettino being made favourites to land the winger, a few clubs in Italy and Spain are also rumoured to be tracking the player, prompting the manager to make a swift decision over his future.
