Tottenham Hotspur star Nacer Chadli has come out to urge the supporters to stay patient as he believes the club are going to return to winning ways despite a slow start to the new campaign, Daily Star reports.
The 25-year-old winger has been in top form for his side this season, scoring five and providing one in his last nine Premier League appearances for his side.
Despite having to see his side score in the final minutes of the 2-1 victory over Aston Villa, he believes the entire squad is showing signs of improvement under Mauricio Pochettino.
“We are definitely more compact and stronger and think we create chances as well in every game.
“Last season we lost this kind of game but we fought back and we believed we could do it. Everyone believed – that’s the most important thing.”
Chadli played a major part in the game against Villa by scoring the vital equalizer in the 84th minute before teammate Harry Kane netted an injury time free kick to secure all three points.
