Tottenham Hotspur’s Younes Kaboul has played down a potential move to the Serie A despite being linked with Lazio and Fiorentina, Talksport reports.
The Italian pair have been interested in the Spurs captain ever since the previous summer and is now willing to try and negotiate a switch during the upcoming January window.
Kaboul has enjoyed a great spell of game time under new manager Mauricio Pochettino and as the appointed leader of the side, the 28-year has revealed that he will not be leaving White Hart Lane.
He said: “I still have a contract until June 2016 with the Spurs, I’m very happy,”
Last season, the defender only managed 13 Premier League appearances the entire season due to a host of injury setbacks, causing speculation of a potential club exit.
However, the French centre-back has now started all of his seven Premier League matches and is now looking to become a vital member of Pochettino’s back line.
