Tottenham Hotspur are considering the option of selling striking pair Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado in order to make funds available for the signing of Porto’s Jackson Martinez, Express reports.
The 28-year-old is valued at about £40million and has also attracted interest from both Arsenal as well as Liverpool, all of whom are looking to add a quality goalscoring into their front lines.
Adebayor is currently being monitored by Galatasaray, while Soldado is linked with a switch to Inter Milan, both a possible exit route should Mauricio Pochettino agree to sell his two attackers.
The club will need to carefully consider their options as if they lose two of their three strikers and fail to land their target, they could be without adequate cover for the remainder of the season.
Harry Kane is currently the first choice forward for Pochettino and will be a great partner for Martinez who is a proven goalscorer, having netted 29 goals in 51 games in his previous campaign.
