Spurs are believed to be keen on Watford striker Matej Vydra and could make a summer move for him if the Hornets do not get promoted, according to International Business Times.
Vydra, 21, has been outstanding in the Championship on loan from Italian side Udinese this season, hitting 22 goals to help Watford into Monday’s play-off final.
He scored a superb volley as part of a brace in the Hornets’ dramatic semi-final win over Leicester on Sunday and has plenty of Premier League clubs watching him closely.
He is likely to stay at Vicarage Road if Gianfranco Zola’s men are victorious over Crystal Palace at Wembley and seal promotion, but if they lose Vydra could move on with Spurs said to be leading the chase for him.
The Czech youngster, who was named Championship Player of the Year this season, has also attracted attention from Aston Villa and Fulham but he is likely to favour Spurs if he is to leave Watford this summer.
