Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj in the January transfer window, according to The Mirror.
The 27-year-old Croatia international is highly rated in Serie A and a player that Spurs have come up against a number of times in the Europa League over recent years.
Mauricio Pochettino was keen to bolster his options in central midfield over the course of the summer and signed Victor Wanyama from Southampton.
This leaves the Kenyan fighting with Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Mousa Dembele for a starting berth in the White Hart Lane side and an array of varied options for Pochettino to select from.
However, the latest report suggests that another central midfielder could be added to Spurs’ contingent in the new year, with an approach for Badelj touted.
It says that AC Milan are also keen on the Croat star, who moved to Fiorentina from Hamburg in 2014.
