Ryan Mason has spoken openly about his Tottenham team-mates and how impressed he is that the club is so heavily represented at the European Championships this summer, as reported by the London Evening Standard.
Spurs have five players in the England squad that has travelled to France for this summer’s tournament and, despite being excluded himself, Mason has openly praised his team-mates and the club for having such an impact on the England squad.
Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Eric Dier may well all start for England in their first game against Russia.
Mason said, “It is a great achievement for us.”
This is the sort of comment that has often come out of White Hart Lane and reflects a togetherness that has been significant in Mauricio Pochettino’s successes as Tottenham manager.
Mason may not have long left at the club if they continue to progress at their current rate, considering that he was seldom a starter for the side this season.
