Tottenham Hotspur are planning to offer Aaron Lennon plus cash to Everton in hopes of securing a move for Kevin Mirallas, a player that has caught the eye of Mauricio Pochettino, Mirror reports.
The 27-year-old has 18 months left on his current deal, but Roberto Martinez earlier revealed that he will do all he can to keep him at Goodison Park and may even find it hard to keep hold of him.
However, Pochettino is trying to sell a number of his players in order to clear up financial room as well as space to bring in players to his liking in order to fight for a top four finish.
Lennon, who has found playing time quite hard to come by this season and has only been given three Premier League starts while featuring from the bench a further six times so far.
The Toffees have been struggling to break into the fight for a space in Europe as they sit in 12th place following an eight game win-less streak in all competitions and if they continue to under-perform, Mirallas could consider a challenge elsewhere.
