Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to match Queens Park Rangers’ £15million asking price for star striker Charlie Austin, according to reports from the Mirror.
Austin has been heavily linked with a move away from Loftus Road this summer following an extremely successful campaign in the Premier League last season.
However, with Tottenham set to sell Emmanuel Adebayor to Aston Villa and Roberto Soldado in talks with several La Liga clubs, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is ready to pay what is required in order to bring the 26-year-old to White Hart Lane.
The Lilywhites are even prepared to offer a player on loan to sweeten the transfer, with QPR keen to return to the English top flight after being relegated last season.
Austin made 36 appearances for the Hoops in the previous campaign, scoring an impressive 18 goals.
