Tottenham Hotspur are still tracking Brazilian striker Leandro Damiao and have had at least one bid rejected for the 23 year old.
The Daily Telegraph believes Spurs are still keen on the frontman, who is valued by Internacional at £20 million.
A deal for Damiao could signal the end of Jermain Defoe’s stay at White Hart Lane, with Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas said to be keen to offer 19 year-old Harry Kane some first team opportunities.
A mass exodus is currently being carried out at the London club as the Portuguese shapes his Tottenham squad. Tom Huddlestone’s move on loan to Stoke comes at a time when Michael Dawson and Luka Modric are close to deals out of Spurs. The future of Jermaine Jenas, Giovani Dos Santos, Heurelho Gomes, David Bentley and Rafael Van Der Vaart is also uncertain.
Still only 34 the former Chelsea manager was heavily criticised for trying to change too much too quickly at the Bridge and must be careful, contemplating moving on extremely talented players such as Rafael van Der Vaart and Jermain Defoe.
