The 21 year old central midfielder is seen as one of the best prospects in Dutch football and Feyenoord are not keen on selling him any time soon.
However Fiorentina have tabled an offer for the Netherlands international in the hope to tie down a summer move as soon as possible.
Feyenoord are refusing to accept or reject the bid until the end of the season when the player may feel he needs to move to one of the top European clubs in order to further his career.
Tottenham are keen to get their summer business done early and may well make a bid of their own for Clasie, who is seen as the ideal partner to Sandro in the heart of the Spurs midfield.
“We do not need to sell him, nor do we particularly want to, but we have to think of the player’s ambitions and evaluate the offers from other clubs,” Feyenoord technical director Martin van Geel told Voetbal.
“There is an offer from Fiorentina, but we’ll only discuss it at the end of the season. Right now the players must focus only on Feyenoord.
