Tottenham set to return with renewed bid

Tottenham are ready to make another bid for Eden Hazard, and are preparing to use attacker Giovani Dos Santos as a makeweight in a potential deal, according to The Daily Mail.

The Lille playmaker is one of the hottest prospects in the world game, and has caught the eye of almost all the leading European clubs in staring for the Ligue 1 champions.

The Belgium international stated that he has made his mind up that he wants to play in England after his team’s 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday.

Spurs made an effort to sign him in January, but Hazard decided to see out the season with the French team.

Dos Santos meanwhile has had few opportunities at White Hart Lane, and is desperate to find a new club to rejuvenate his career and get first-team football.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph state that Manchester City are the frontrunners for the attacking midfielders services, and are preparing a £30 million for him this summer.

Etihad Stadium executive Patrick Vieira was in attendance at Lille’s last fixture, and it is believed that Roberto Mancini has made Hazard his number one transfer target this summer.
