Despite defeating league leaders Chelsea 5-3 on New Year’s Day, man-of-the-match Harry Kane is still annoyed that his side conceded two second half goals, Daily Star reports.
Spurs were leading 4-1 against the Blues but were almost caught up when Eden Hazard and John Terry capitalized on some poor defending.
And Kane, who scored a brace, was unhappy that all their good work could have undone by conceding unnecessary goals.
He said: “It shows how good we are. To score five against one of the best defences in the world shows how we’re coming together as a team.
“It was a great win. We are probably unhappy we conceded the two extra goals but we are delighted with the win.
“I am just enjoying playing. Hopefully I can keep it up but the most important thing is the team winning.”
Spurs have now climbed above North London rivals Arsenal in the Premier League table as they aim to grab the last Champions League spot.
