Tottenham Hotspur star Ryan Mason could face another spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury in the 0-0 draw with Chelsea, Daily Mail reports.
The 24-year-old picked up a knock during the 56th minute and was spotted wearing a protective boot on his way out of White Hart Lane.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino is yet to confirm the extent of the injury as he admitted that he hopes everything is alright.
Should the midfielder’s problem be deemed serious, he could be sidelined yet again given that he already missed a month of football back in September when he suffered an injury to his knee.
The player has been on good form so far this term, featuring in 10 out of a possible 14 Premier League matches for his club this season.
Spurs have been impressive since the start of the current campaign as they sit fifth on the table after having registered six wins, seven draws, and only one defeat.
