The Italian side are hoping to swoop in and stop the Dane from signing a new deal at White Hart Lane. Talks are ongoing between Spurs and Eriksen, but the next deal is yet to be signed.
It’s been a busy week already at Inter Milan, with Roberto Mancini departing the club, and being replaced by former Ajax manager Frank de Boer.
And the 46-year-old knows Eriksen well, after managing him at the Amsterdam club between 2010-2013, before selling him to Spurs.
Since then, the 24-year-old has gone on to become a key player for the club, creating chances as well as finishing off 23 league goals himself across his three seasons in England.
Spurs fans will be desperate to see the Dane stay in London, with the midfielder about to get his first taste of the UEFA Champions League in Tottenham colours, with the club agreeing to play their home games at Wembley Stadium.
