Tottenham stopper coy over future after World Cup exit

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is giving nothing away over his future after France were knocked out of the World Cup, as reported by London24.

The impressive French number one could do nothing as Germany eased passed Les Bleus in the quarter final and is now looking forward to a much needed holiday.

Spurs missed out on Champions League football once again, leaving one of the best goalkeepers in the world once again in the Europa League, although he has rarely kicked a ball there either.

Rumours have begun that Lloris is looking for a move away from White Hart Lane and a number of major European clubs including Real Madrid, PSG and Liverpool all stepping up their interest.

However for now the 27-year-old is not thinking about next season and just wants a break from football after the heartache of Friday night’s World Cup elimination.

“I don’t want to speak about my situation now. I think I will speak soon about that and we will deal with it,” Lloris said.

“I need a few days to recover and after that to relax, have a good rest and come back for next season.”
