Tottenham To Hijack Liverpool Bid For Senegal ace

Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow

Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas is hoping to beat Liverpool to the signature of highly rated Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow, according to the Daily Star.

Sow has recently welcomed interest from Premier League clubs and Liverpool in particular after hearing of the Merseyside club’s interest in the media but Spurs are set to outbid their domestic rivals.

The Senegalese star was the leading scorer in France when he made an £8.4million move Turkey and he has continued his fine form netting 14 times this season for Fenerbahce.

Spurs are desperate to add more strike-power to their front line with Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe struggling to find form this season leaving Gareth Bale to take on the mantel of scoring the goals for the North London side.

Liverpool are hoping to keep hold of star man Luis Suarez and big money signings such as Sow will prove to the Uruguayan that the Reds are moving in the right direction in regards to Champions League football.
