Tottenham Hotspur are set to rekindle their interest in Southampton star Victor Wanyama this summer according to The Daily Mail.
The White Hart Lane outfit made attempts to land the Kenyan midfielder last summer but the Saints dug their heels in and did not allow the former Celtic bruiser to move to North London.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino knows Wanyama well from their mutual time at St Mary’s and is a fan of the hard-working African.
As such, and with Tottenham set to feature in the Champions League next season, another attempt to land the all-action midfielder is set to be put forward before 2016-17.
Spurs are said to have had a £18 million offer for Wanyama turned down last summer and Ronald Koeman will surely be reluctant to let him go again.
Tottenham have the likes of Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele in the heart of their side, but could well look to bolster their options this summer.
