Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to include Andros Townsend into their offer to sign Aston Villa star Christian Benteke, according to reports from the Metro.
The 24-year-old has caught the eye of a number of Premier League sides following his impressive finish to the current campaign.
Apart from Spurs, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal have all emerged as a possible destination for the Belgium international.
However, Tottenham are believed to be unwilling to match the players £32.5million valuation, prompting them to table an offer with Townsend added into the deal.
Benteke has been in great form this season, scoring 15 goals from a total of 34 appearances for his side.
Townsend was linked with an exit throughout the campaign and could once again be forced out after failing to hold role a regular role at White Hart Lane.
He was offered in the potential swap deal with Southampton over a move for Morgan Schneiderlin earlier in the year, but the transfer never happened due to a breakdown in negotiations.
