Tottenham Hotspur have identified Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette as a potential summer signing and are winning the race for the versatile forward’s signature according to The Mirror.
The hotshot forward has been touted with a move to the Premier League for some time, with a host of English sides interested in his services.
Spurs are supposedly ready to snap the 24-year-old up, but have the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United for competition.
The White Hart Lane side have had an excellent campaign under Mauricio Pochettino and are in the running to win the Premier League title this term.
With Champions League football afoot, strengthening the squad will be a priority for Spurs this summer.
The North London side are overly reliant on Harry Kane in the striker’s berth and as such Lacazette would provide an excellent alternative or accompaniment.
The France international has struck 18 goals for Lyon in Ligue 1 this season.
