Manchester United are set to have a fight on their hands to hold onto Ander Herrera, with The Daily Mail suggesting that Atletico Madrid and Juventus are keen to land the talented playmaker this summer.
The gifted midfielder has been in and out of the Old Trafford first team since arriving for £29 million from Athletic Bilbao, but has shown glimpses of brilliance during this time at the Red Devils.
With Herrera’s contract running down to two years remaining this summer, there is reported interest from the continent and United may well be tempted to cash in on the diminutive schemer.
Juve are eyeing Herrera as a possible replacement for Paul Pogba, who looks set to leave Turin for a bumper move to Spain or England.
Atletico are believed to be Herrera’s preference should he leave United, with a return to his homeland of more appeal than a switch to Italy.
