Unhappy Tottenham star ‘not good enough’ for the team

Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood has claimed that midfielder Sandro is not good enough to make his squad at present, as reported by talkSPORT.

The Brazilian midfielder tweeted that he was not injured, but simply left out of the squad to face Fulham yesterday lunchtime.

Sherwood has no issue with his players tweeting and agreed with the midfielder that he was not playing because he wasn’t selected.

Despite two wins in a week, all is still not well at White Hart Lane and with players now seemingly turning on the manager it could be a tough final few weeks of the season and then the summer for Sherwood.

“What he’s stating is correct,” said Sherwood.

“He’s not selected at the moment.

“I don’t think he’s good enough to be in the side at the minute, when he shows me he’s up to the level of the other players he’ll be back in the squad.

“I like Sandro as a player but he has to work hard to be back in the side.”
