Manchester United and Everton are reportedly keeping tabs on Italy international defender Angelo Ogbonna, The Sun report.

The Torino centre-half played a key role in getting his club side promoted from Serie B last season and as a reward was part of Cesare Prandelli's squad for Euro 2012.

The 24-year-old recently featured for the Azzurri in their World Cup qualifying fixtures, and is touted as one of the brightest prospects in the game in Italy.

Juventus have been long-time admirers of Ogbonna, but after coming through the Torino youth system the defender is reluctant to move to his side's local rivals.

The Italian media report Ogbonna to be valued at around £16 million, and the player has the versatility to play at left-back as well as in the middle of defence.

The stopper is currently under contract with Torino until 2016, but has continued to impress and is drawing suitors from the Premier League.
