United’s Pogba deal could see Chelsea sell star

Italian giants Juventus are eyeing a move for Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic should Paul Pogba’s transfer to Manchester United go through, The Daily Mail report.

The France international star has been touted with a world-record return to Old Trafford this summer, with reports in the European press that it is only a matter of time before the gifted playmaker is unveiled as a Red Devils’ player.

Pogba left United in 2012 and has developed into a world-class star in Turin, helping Juventus to a period of domestic success.

Should the Frenchman leave the Bianconeri, boss Max Allegri has an eye on Matic as a potential replacement.

The Serbian enforcer suffered a dip in form last season and Chelsea have added N’Golo Kante to their already considerable midfield options already this summer.

The report also suggests that Juve are considering a move for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko should Pogba move to United.
