Van Gaal warns Blues and Gunners that Man United are yet to hit form

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has sent out a warning to their Premier League that his side are beginning to click after their 2-1 win over Everton on Sunday, Daily Star reports.

The Dutch boss believes that the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man City will be in big trouble when the Red Devils hit their stride this season.

United managed to go into the top four for the first time in over a year, and Van Gaal claims there is more to come from the 13-time Premier League champions.

He said: “We are not playing good but we are already fourth in the table. That is what I have told my players.

“What is coming when we are playing well?

“We have to do it for 90 minutes. We have played very good for 45 minutes already, sometimes for 50 or 60 but we have to do it for 90 and that needs time.”

The former Bayern Munich boss then went on to praise goalkeer David de Gea, who made three brilliant saves – plus a Leighton Baines penalty –  to win the game for Man United.

“When you hold the penalty and then in the dying seconds you make three magnificent saves, then you are great because you win the game because of that,” Van Gaal added.
