Van Persie removed from Arsenal catalogues

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has returned to training, but has maintained that he still wants to leave the club, The Sun state.

The north London outfit were handed a hammer blow when the Netherlands international revealed that he saw his future elsewhere, with his contract expiring next summer.

With Van Persie on holiday, Arsenal were rumoured to be ready to sit down with their captain once more in a bid to change the talismanic forward’s mind when he returned.

However, despite Van Persie turning up for training, Arsene Wenger has now realised that his star player will not change his mind and will make a decision over the forward’s future this week.

Manchester City, United and Juventus are thought to be the teams most eager to negotiate a deal for Van Persie, who wants to leave the Emirtes Stadium in search of silverware.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have also removed all images of Van Persie from their catalogues for their 2012-13 home and away kits.
