Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is ready to loan Jermaine Jenas to a Championship side for the rest of the season, Mirror Football state.
The former England international is surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane, with the Portuguese coach having a raft of other central midfielders to choose from.
Jenas was touted with a transfer deadline day move to Sunderland, but the switch to the Wearside outfit failed to materialise, with personal reasons quoted as the reason that the midfielder did not move to the Stadium of Light.
With the Football League market set to open up for loan deals in the next couple of days, Villas-Boas is keen to give Jenas regular first-team football elsewhere and will offer the fringe player to a host of second-tier clubs.
Spurs have the likes of Sandro, Scott Parker, Jake Livermore, Tom Huddlestone and Moussa Dembele already at the club who can operate in the centre of the park.
