Danish striker Andreas Cornelius will be the subject of bids from the likes of Stoke and Arsenal, according to the player’s agent
The 20-year-old is attracting plenty of interest following his performances for FC Copenhagen this season and his stock has risen even further after he grabbed his first international goal for Denmark against the Czech Republic on Friday.
A whole host of scouts were present for the World Cup qualifier, including Stoke, Arsenal and Tottenham, and they will have been impressed with what they saw.
Copenhagen are in the Champions League next season and have insisted they are under no pressure to sell but the player’s agent Jonathan Walker believes their resolve will be tested.
“Cornelius is a hot name in England,” Walker told Sporten.dk. “I know that some Premier League clubs are considering an offer for him.” (Sky Sports)
