Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle will not attempt to sign Jimmy Bullard from Hull City this summer.
The 31-year-old midfielder was reported to be on Coyle's summer wish-list following Hull's relegation from the top-flight.
However, the Trotters are not interested in signing the injury-plagued midfielder, who has made just a handful of appearances for the Tigers since arriving in a club record £5million deal from Fulham in January 2009.
"Jimmy is a great player but he's not on our radar at Bolton," Coyle told the Bolton News.
"We have got some quality players in his position already at this football club.
"There hasn't been any dialogue from me, so I suppose it's the usual speculation you get in silly season, as I call it.
"I'm sure we'll be linked with everyone at this time of the year."
