Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has stated that he loves watching Gunners attacker Alexis Sanchez play after the Chilean put in another standout performance against Watford yesterday.
The North London side were eager to record three points to build on their win over Manchester United yesterday and left Vicarage Road with the spoils after a 3-0 triumph.
Sanchez was again on the scoresheet for the Emirates Stadiums side, scoring his side’s first goal in a comfortable win.
Wenger has stated that the former Barcelona man is a unique talent and is a joy to watch.
“I like to watch football and that is what you want when you watch him play. That is delightful,” he told the Arsenal official website.
“Yesterday in the training session he looked quite sharp and the medical people told me he has no problem at all, then I thought I would test if he is ready and if he was not ready I would take him out.
“But sometimes it is easier to start the game and take the players off than when you go into the game a little bit tired, because you go with the game. So I decided to go for that.”
The Gunners are coming onto a bit of good form after an inconsistent start to the campaign and will need to be at their best when they face Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek.
Arsenal have lost both of their opening European games and as such need points in the back-to-back fixtures against Pep Guardiola’s distinguished side.
