West Bromwich Albion are demanding that Tottenham Hotspur pay at least £20million for star striker Saido Berahino, according to reports from the Express.
Berahino has been heavily linked with a move away from the Hawthornes the past summer, with Spurs favourites for his signature.
The Lilywhites have made a £15million approach to sign the England U-21 striker, but that bid as been turned down by the Baggies.
Berahino is said to be valued no less than £20million by the Midlands club, however the Lilywhites are hoping that West Brom lower their asking price as the transfer window draws to a close.
The Baggies have already brought in Rickie Lambert from Liverpool and broke the club transfer record for Salomon Rondon, so it is expected that they are already preparing for life without Berahino.
And if they don’t lower their valuation of the 22-year-old, then Tottenham are prepared to turn to Charlie Austin as an adequate alternative.
Queens Park Rangers have set their price for Austin at £15million, which is significantly cheaper than Berahino.
