West Ham United and Crystal Palace have been boosted in their chase to sign Gohi Bi Zoro Cyriac after he hinted at a possible switch to the Premier League, Daily Star reports.
The 25-year-old Oostende star is currently the top scorer in the Belgium Pro League with 10 goals in his last 15 matches for the side.
Both the Hammers along with the Eagles have already sent scouts to keep an eye on the displays of the player and could be considering a move for his services in the near future.
When the striker was asked about a possible switch to either clubs, Cyriac admitted that he would be keen on joining a team in the English Premier League.
“I’m happy about that. I like those clubs. They would be a challenge for me,” he said.
“I would be happy to play in the best league in the world one day but right now I want to help Oostende qualify for Europe.”
The Ivory Coast international only joined the Belgium outfits in the summer, signing a contract until 2019, but could already be considering an exit given his recent form in front of goal.
He also revealed that he sees Chelsea legend Didier Drogba as a father figure as he now hopes to replicate his career in England.
