West Ham dealt blow in pursuit of Sam Allardyce replacement

Bournemouth gaffer Eddie Howe would snub a move to West Ham should the Hammers come calling, that is according to reports in the Daily Star.

Howe has built up a reputation during this season with Bournemouth’s expansive football seeing the Cherries now sitting in second place and needing just one win from their final two games to seal the final automatic promotion spot to the Premier League – Watford took the first one, yesterday.

Current West Ham gaffer, Sam Allardyce has had a turbulent up-and-down relationship with the Hammers faithful, however, following the Irons’ collapse in 2015 from being in the top four to struggling for a top ten finish, it appears to be the final nail in his claret and blue coffin.

Allardyce, who has previously managed Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers, is out of contract at the end of the current season and has already been linked with the Sunderland job should the Hammers choose not to keep their man.
